The Underground Union: Header

About The Project

The Site:
Originally, the site was going to be based on the song April 2031, a song by Warrant about a dystopic future and the effects of global warming, climate change, pollution and human stupidity. Unfortunately the band, Warrant, did not reply to our request for the use of their song. We needed another idea quickly. In the end, it was Brett that came to the rescue with his idea: the Underground Union. Loosely based on the European Union and the Union of the Baltic Cities, the Underground Union is about the coexistence of human kind and Earth and what would happen when that relationship goes wrong. The site is intended to be a warning about the extreme lengths that human kind may have to go to to ensure people continue to live happily on the planet. Oxley was chosen as the capital of the UU because that's our area. The site's intended audience is broad: any human that feels the need to act against environmental destruction.

The site was created and published using Adobe Dreamweaver™ with the aid of Adobe Flash™ for animation, Adobe Fireworks™ for images and GarageBand (used to compose UU anthem).

The Team:
